How do you ensure child safety during the event?
Safety is our absolute priority. Every DTO nanny is CPR and first-aid certified, and has passed a rigorous multi-tier vetting process. We also implement secure digital check-in systems and maintain age-appropriate child-to-nanny ratios for constant supervision.
What ages do you cater to and what activities do you provide?
We bridge the gap for children ages 0 to 12. Our nannies curate high-end 'play zones' featuring sensory tables, creative arts and crafts, and interactive games tailored to each age group, ensuring the little ones have as much fun as the adults.
Where will the care take place at our venue?
We coordinate with you or your event planner to transform a designated safe room or quiet corner of the venue into a magical mobile playroom. This allows parents to enjoy the event while being just a few steps away for total peace of mind.
Do we need to provide children's meals or snacks?
We typically suggest that the venue or caterer provides the children's meals. However, our nannies are happy to supervise mealtime and can manage snack distributions based on your specific dietary instructions and the parent's preferences.
How far in advance should we book DTO for our event?
To ensure we have our elite care team reserved for your date, we recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance for larger celebrations like weddings or galas. For smaller private gatherings, 4-8 weeks is usually sufficient.
Cancellation Policy FAQ
When is my booking confirmed?
Your event date is confirmed once your signed agreement and non-refundable deposit are received.
What happens if I cancel my booking?
14 Days — 50% of total fee
7 Days — 75% of total fee
Less than 7 days — No refund
Can I reschedule my event?
Yes. One reschedule is allowed if requested at least 14 days before your event and is subject to availability. Deposits may be transferred within 6 months.
What if DTO Event Nanny Co. needs to cancel?
In the rare event we must cancel due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive either a full refund or a qualified replacement caregiver with your approval.
What happens if the event is cancelled due to severe weather?
If cancellation is caused by circumstances beyond either party’s control (e.g., government restrictions, natural events), full refund or a reschedule is allowed.
